Let's Feel Great, Issue #024 -- Need help with my E-book...
March 01, 2009

I have some exciting news to share with you this month. Rebecca Benston of 2 Higher Ground 4 Women has requested me to be featured on her blog as a Wonderful Woman. Isn't that great?

So I no longer have any excuses not to write the E-book I have been wanting to write for some time, titled "You, Yes YOU, Can Feel Great About Yourself". You see Rebecca has this monthly draw where her visitors can win a book, cd or whatever of the Wonderful Woman of the month.

I need your help though. Please participate in my E-book Survey, to help me on my way. It'll only take a few minutes, I promise.

Thanks in advance.

Great Quote

“Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm.... As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.”

----, by Audrey Hepburn.

"You, Yes YOU, Can Feel Great About Yourself"

Read the above quote again!

I love this quote. To me it means that we get wiser as we grow older, and that we stop thinking just about ourselves.

As I am getting older I realize that I've come a long way from where I used to be. I remember the years where I was afraid of about anything involving being around people or taking risks. My self esteem was low, I had hardly any confidence in myself and loving myself was not even on my mind.

Now I'm enjoying a quiet life with my husband and kids, just the way I want to. I have friends in my "real" life and in my "virtual" life, that is people I've met on Facebook and Twitter. I'm feeling great about myself.

I can imagine that when you hear people talking about feeling great about themselves, you think of that person traveling the world doing all kinds of great stuff and bursting with confidence. I don't completely agree with this vision. I believe, that it's this idea of big houses, grand cars, etc that is keeping people from feeling great. They expect that they have to be a certain way, have certain stuff and have achieved great success before they can feel great about themselves.

Trust me this is not what it's about. It's so much easier to enjoy the little things in life and have them pile up to become bigger things. To praise yourself for preparing a great dinner for your family, friends or even yourself, instead of worrying about tomorrow. When you praise yourself often enough and start to feel so much better about yourself, the greater stuff will come and before you know it you are living the life of your dreams. How simple that life may be.

This is my opinion. What's yours? Please participate in my E-book Survey and let me know what you think.

I'm feeling better and better, about myself, my life and everything around me, as days go by. I hope you are too...

I really hope to inspire many more, so please participate in my E-book Survey and let me know what you think. Your opinion is really valuable to me.
